- Progression - Player Level and Hero Level caps removed. Leveling now rewards gems, chests, and more.
- Loot Chests - Purchase or earn loot chests that can contain all of the things you used to buy with gold and other new cosmetics.
- Mega Hero Bundles - Log in from launch to May 22, 2017 to earn enough gems to purchase one of the new Mega Hero Bundles.
- New Map - Hanamura is the new map, adding a payload mechanic to Heroes!
- New Hero - Genji is the new hero, jumping into the Nexus right from Overwatch.
