As a part of our continued statistics posts, we looked at the most popular weapons used for transmogrification. The results below are broken down by class, with a clear preference for weapon models from Burning Crusade. Disregarding cloaks and counting duplicate items as two different items we find the following:
- 62% of the top 5 items are from Burning Crusade.
- 31% of the top 5 items are Burning Crusade PvP items.
- 31% of the top 5 items are Burning Crusade PvE items.
- 20% of the top 5 items are from Classic.
- 18% of the top 5 items are from Wrath of the Lich King.
- 0% of the top 5 items are from Cataclysm.
