Highly Recommended by Most PC Gamers!

Designed to help optimize your PC for smoother, more responsive game play in the latest PC games with the touch of a button, Game Booster helps achieve the performance edge previously only available to highly technical enthusiasts. It works by deframenting game directories, temporarily shutting down background processes, cleaning RAM, and intensifying processor performance. That means you can keep all the features of Microsoft? Windows? Vista? and XP? ready for when you need them, but turn them off when you are ready to get down to serious business ? gaming. Game Booster makes it simpler to enjoy the latest games and take your experience to a new level. All systems go!

I've been using this for ages now, since my computer only has 1gig of ram and alot of the background processes eats up alot of my ram. This shuts everything down that isn't needed and makes me be able to move in dalaran again! (And of course raid) From 1fps in Dalaran to 20+ again!!

Things to note, it will shut down you're firewall/antivirus if you tell it to. So be cautious when web browsing, switch back to normal mode. You dirty pornheads might infect you're self

Buy more ram!! Ram is so cheap now, that is if you are using DDR2 :p

That's what I was gonna say - easily the cheapest upgrade option - without the risk of stuffing up your windows installation too :)

I'm in a difficult situation. My computer was custom built by my sister ages ago, using parts she didn't use and some store bought.
The jist of it is, my motherboard is ancient, (i use an AGP gfx card). I use 2 512mb sticks of DDR1(i think). It'll cost me about $140 to upgrade to 2gigs, buying the only type of ram that supports my comp (I've done my store-trolling). Which is stupid right? Yeah, i'm not doing that, lol.

So basically i need to buy a new computer, buying a new motherboard to support the new ram, AND i'd have to buy a new gfx card (the one i have is still relativly new, Yeah new agp, amazing hey) So i'd just go all out and replace it all since it's all old crap, lol. Which comes down to a money issue! Speaking of which, my boyfriend owes me a xmas present from last year.. o_O

There is no risk with this program, the worst that could happen is a program freak out when switching back to normal mode, in that case reboot you're comp. Anyways, it does make a huge difference, so yeah, try it out if you have problems like me with shitty frame rates :)

Sorry to be presumtive there - there's usually a reason for these things and that's a good reason. It's an annoying situation and you're probably right - no point spending inflated $$ on outdated RAM while you are trying to save up for a new machine.
I think it's about $120 from my local shop - still too much really. You might want to give ebay a try though. Here is what you want - currently $64 and 5 minutes until close.
I swore I'd never get another agp graphics card but it has happened twice now - I'm keeping my old machine running for a media centre - upgraded to windows 7 but ATI (AMD) will not produce any windows 7 drivers for their agp cards. What a load of crap. So I went out and bought a cheap nvidia card last weekend.

Is ram usually the main thing? Do game updates usually require you to get more ram to run the game better because of some technical crap they change or whatever?

I have 4 gigs of ram and it was enough when Lich King came out but apparently not anymore. I still run fine but there is a noticeabale difference. Whats good ram to run at now?

Thanks Frisky. I saw that program a few weeks ago on download.com while searchin for somethin else. I thought it sounded neat but some stuff like that is hard for me to trust since its public on the retarded hackyouallnet and i dont know shit about computers other than how to turn them on and off and use a keyboard and a mouse.

Your problems will all go away when you delete all your porn. Reformat or defrag/clean up any old crap you dont need (unfortunately this includes porn :( )

Clean up crap you don't need -- Delete porn.

You're not making any sense!

Some porn you just gotta say goodbye to :( No matter how hard it is.

@Vye, yea i actually have 2 2gig sticks of ram in a box somewhere, it's incompatible with my motherboard. I think i paid bout $50-70 a while ago. www.msy.com.au is where i buy my stuff from.
I've been to a computer dude and researched my motherboard, and the only type of ram that will work in my computer is limited 2gigs(2x 1gig stick) and i'd have to order it. But i figure no point upgrading what i plan to replace lol, and 2gigs is only a slight upgrade for that price.
And yes, it took me AGES to find a driver that worked. Think im using some modified version or something since the disk one didn't work o_O

Computers suck.

@Hawnbag, 4gigs is a nice amount to have. If wow was working perfect before and now it's not, i point you to Ice's comment :D

today I fired up Game Booster.. and my antivirus caught it as it has virus.. and deleted it right away... :p so becareful

What antivirus do you use mado? It was probably a false alarm as gamebooster is closing.. well.. everything. May just suspect it's bad. Or the virus in the actual installation you downloaded? I've been using it for over a year now and never had a problem.

Anyways, use it at you're own risk i guess :)

I've been using it for a while now too after u posted it last time, until last night I guess may be
1. it got infected. or
2. my new virus database doesn't like that...

I have to try d/l new one may be.

I googled the incident and apparently it's an issue post on their forum too, now the release 1.21 which is clear from any antivirus red flag..
I just got the newest version.
