Just thought id post an update about my new PC as I haven't had the chance to push it so much since I got it.

Ladt night on Elegon I thought id try running fraps, whole time my FPS didn't go below 50 this is all on ultra settings to mind you, I was worried abit going into the last phase as some other people had mentioned it lagged them quite bad but it dropped to around 44 FPS with fraps still running.

If I turn fraps off I don't drop below 60 FPS.

I am over the moon by this, first time I've ever had a computer that could do what I wanted it to and still let me perform.

just an update as this is by far thebest thing I've brought in ages and thanks to everyone who helped me make some minor adjustments from my original quote.

I hear ya mate, makes this old game still look great, especially MoP! Chugging right along at a solid 60+ FPS on fully maxed out Ultra settings /flex.

But other things that'd definitely be worth investing in are a nice keyboard & a gaming mouse. Ironically though I ended up ditching my $79 Logitech gaming keyboard for a $20 Cambodian road whore special. Why? The positions of the keys was kinda different on the gaming keyboard & like I'd try to press the button for Charge but end up pressing something else.
 
haha i have a razer deathadder (soon to be Naga) and invested in a Razer keyboard which is sick.

I bought a pimped out PX21 turtle beach headset, the surround sound in the headset is like nothing i have heard before, simply impressive.

might build myself a new Pc around Xmas wait and see if Piledriver can keep up with a I5 before jumping of the fail boat...but what about the cross fired cards and mobo sigh AMD...

Any rate fixed my missers PC so can keep her and the kids of mine Might try a solid over clock tonight.

Also In need of a new headset one with a inch fucking thick braided line so my son stops twisting and braking $120 headsets
