Quest Chain Summary
- The quest starts near the Orgrimmar portal in Oribos. Lady Liadrin asks you to meet her in Silvermoon.
- There, you discover that the scourge are relentlessly attacking Quel'thalas and you are sent to Tranquillien to aid them.
- There, you must slay scourge and strengthen wards. As you do so, a San'layn named Vorath keeps showing up to try and stop you. Everytime you kill him, he just laughs and returns again at the next ward.
- Rommath senses a surge of magic from Deathholme when Vorath dies for a third time, and you report to Liadrin.
- Scouts report that Vorath has some sort of crystal array in Deathholme that keeps summoning him back after death. Everyone decides to overpower the safeguards to kill him for good.
- You gather the Forged Ranseur weapon upstairs that should have the power to stop him.
- You then travel to Bastion with Salandria to find a proper soul to help fuel the blade. There, you encounter a Kyrian named Vandellor. He will help, but only if you can beat him in a race to prove yourself. The lesson here is to stay true to your path.
- After imbuing the weapon, Vanellor says speaking with Salandria has sparked a long-forgotten memory in his mind. Salandria remarks that her mentor Liadrin was adopted by someone with the same name, but he doesn't recall her.
- You then travel to the Theater of Pain to get help from Fightlord San. He has you fight a gladiator named Frisson to prove yourself, and then empowers the weapon further.
- You return to Liadrin in Tranquillien with your new weapon.
- You then mount a hawkstrider and run through the Dead Scar, destroying scourge on your way to Deathholme.
- Liadrin, Dawnheart, Salandria, and you then fight Vorath. After killing him, you drive the blade into his corpse. You avoid the explosive energies by hiding behind Liadrin's shield, and then watch as he turns into a monstrosity that you are forced to destroy.
- Upon returning to Silvermoon, you are awarded the Elusive Emerald Hawkstrider mount and a unique Paladin transmog set Ensemble: Blood Knight's Dedication. Lor'themar thanks you and wonders how bad the situation in Icecrown is if the scourge are such a problem here.
