Patch 10.1 PTR - Portable Altar of Decay
In Patch 10.1, Alchemists will be able to craft a personal Altar of Decay via Cauldron of Extracted Putrescence so that crafters don't have to clear the Brackenhide Hollow dungeon as often to craft their decay goods.
- The Recipe: Cauldron of Extracted Putrescence can be found in Decay Covered Chest in the Azure Span or looted off world creatures in the Azure Span or Thaldraszus.
- The Cauldron of Extracted Putrescence recipe requires you to be at an Altar of Decay to craft, so you will still need to return to Brackenhide Hollow at some point.
- It takes 3x Awakened Decay, 200x Zaralek Glowspores, 200x Dracothyst, and a Rot Resistant Cauldron to craft a Cauldron of Extracted Putrescence with three charges.
- The Rot Resistant Cauldron is purchased from any Blacksmithing vendor in The Dragon Isles for a whopping 30,000 gold. However, whenever the three charges of the cauldron are used up, you receive this item back, essentially meaning you only need to purchase it once.
- The Cauldron of Extracted Putrescence functions like a portable anvil, in which it is placed on the ground for 10 minutes, allowing anyone to craft with it during that period.
