PTR Raid and Dungeon Testing (July 27)
There was some confusion over the date of the PTR Testing on friday, the post has been edited and the Faction Champions will be available on european PTRs tonight.

Here's the current schedule for Trial of the Crusader PTR testing:

On the European test realms:

Faction Champions ? Monday Night, July 27, starting at 19:00 CEST. Normal and Heroic.

Some of the tests will have multiple bosses and difficulties available for testing, as noted above.

We?re going to try and have Test Patchwerks (Tank and DPS versions) available in the Argent Coliseum for testing. Instead of the previous tank test patchwerk that increased melee damage over time, the 3.2 tank test patchwerk will just hit VERY hard (as hard as Algalon) all the time to allow for more lengthy sustained tank parses. We're always interested in seeing combat logs and parses for all raid testing on the PTR, but especially test patchwerk logs. These are extremely helpful to our class team.

This schedule could change at a moment's notice due to server, bug, or patch status. I'll try to keep everyone informed as much as possible. The Trial of the Crusader and the bosses to be tested will remain also open a variable length of time. How long they stay open depends upon a host of factors including designer availability, bug status, etc. These bosses are very much a work in progress, and this is a test server.

Champion's Seal and Emblems in 3.2
Emblems of Conquest and Champion's Seals will not drop in the Trial of the Champion (5-player dungeon) on normal mode, nor will there be a daily dungeon quest associated with normal mode, though the items that drop in normal mode are quite good compared to other level 80 dungeons.

One Emblem of Conquest and one Champion's Seal will drop off each boss in Trial of the Champion Heroic mode. There will also be a Heroic daily dungeon quest added to the rotation for this dungeon that awards two Emblems of Triumph. (Source)

Item Levels in the Argent Coliseum
Here's a basic breakdown of the item levels for each dungeon:

Trial of the Champion (5-player) normal mode: Item level 200
Trial of the Champion (5-player) Heroic mode: Item level 213
Trial of the Crusader (10-player) normal mode: Item level 232
Trial of the Crusader (25-player) normal mode: Item level 245
Trial of the Grand Crusader (10-player) Heroic mode: Item level 245
Trial of the Grand Crusader (25-player) Heroic mode: Item level 258

In addition, successful tribute runs (Trial of the Grand Crusader only) will result in higher item level rewards from the tribute chest at the end. (Source)

Argent Tournament Rewards in 3.2 (Source)
Assuming you are eligible for all of the new dailies being added to the Argent Tournament -- meaning you have championed all primary factions and reached exalted with them as well as with the Argent Crusade and Silver Covenant/Sunreavers -- and plan on doing Trial of the Champion, the 5-player Crusaders' Coliseum dungeon on Heroic mode, the maximum number of Champion's Seals you can obtain in a single day will be 15 after patch 3.2 hits, not including any lucky Champion's Seal drops in the Champion's Purse.

Here is a breakdown of the costs of some of the Argent Tournament rewards in 3.2:

Argent Crusader's Tabard: 50 seals
Argent Pony Bridle (for your squire): 150 seals
Bind-on-Account chest pieces: 60 seals
Bind-on-Account weapons: 60-95 seals
Bind-on-Account trinkets: 75 seals
Argent Warhorse/Argent Charger (epic ground mounts): 100 seals
Quel'dorei Steed/Sunreaver Hawkstrider (epic ground mounts): 100 seals
Silver Covenant Hippogryph/Sunreaver Dragonhawk (epic flying mounts): 150 seals
Shimmering Wyrmling (pet): 40 seals

Argent Tournament Shimmering Wyrmling vs TBC
You are right that it is a recolor first and foremost. The one you buy in Outlands is greenish and not what the wyrmlings in the blood elf starting area look like. The wrymling available at the tournament is much more in line with the ones found in the blood elf starting area. This is just sort of a chance to give players access to that wyrmling.

A couple of minor differences between the outland wyrmling and the Shimmering Wyrmling from the Argent Crusade:

  • The Shimmering Wyrmling flies higher (around shoulder height instead of knee height).
  • It's summoned via a pretty cool Arcane spell cast to give it more of a high elf/blood elf sort of feel, given the fact it's summoned via magic rather than released from a cage.
  • It has a special idle animation.
Of course these are all small differences, but again, we wanted to give players a chance of snatching up the wyrmling from the blood elf areas. (Source)

But he'll prolly be absent and it'll go to a new fella

"Trial of the Crusader (10-player) normal mode: Item level 232
Trial of the Crusader (25-player) normal mode: Item level 245
Trial of the Grand Crusader (10-player) Heroic mode: Item level 245
Trial of the Grand Crusader (25-player) Heroic mode: Item level 258"

They changed it, the term "heroic mode" doesn't mean 25man anymore :/

there's normal 25 and heroic 25 man, more or less taking the lets just kill this boss on easy mode for the loot factor out of the equation, which is a good thing.

so does it mean that there are 2 raid ID for 25man

effectively each week you can do 4 raids per character

10man normal
10man heroic
25man normal
25man heroic

hmm how many bosses in new raid content, will there be enough time to do 2 x 25man raid? Are there any hard mode within the heroic mode? since we can extend our raid ID instead of reset on Tuesday now, how are we going to raid?

heroic mode is the hard mode tanka, the bosses are listed in my thread in raid discussion with the videos, minus the faction champions.

yeh i m in ptr. All the instance have changed to 10man/25man instead of normal/heroic. omg the place looks awesome but the changes to dragon's eye sucks.

i'm going to do the 5man instance tomorrow :) well after i fix the key binding n UI.
