Ok so I wrote this whole post out and realised it sounded until the end like I am leaving BNW. This is not the case. Just to put it out there. Ok continue (if anyone actually reads my posts nowadays anyway lolol)
So I joined BNW back in August of last year. Since then I've been here for a lot of personal firsts. I remember the first time I beat Deny on DPS (although my victory didn't last long, lol). I remember getting my first real progression kill (H Shannox, back in G1). I remember getting my first progression kill that was actually TOUGH (Beth'Tilac). This also marked the beginning of my role as a healer in BNW, which is something I still kinda miss doing (but I get to do it every now and then so it's okay). It was really good to be a valued part of the team, even going so far as being able to participate in the tactical discussions despite being barely off my trial (or still on my trial in the case of Shannox, we miss you Gelly). Since then the heroic progression has been flying by, and it's been a great ride. Getting H Ultra down after a 0.5% wipe and taking it 40 minutes past end of raid has been the highlight of not only my time with the guild, but my time playing WoW in general. Everyone got so worked up over it, the excitement in the atmosphere in mumble was almost palpable (especially Deny's lol). And then to get H Sinestra just a few days later (having broken my execute key in the attempt) was just a fantastic feeling. I feel like we've really come together as a team in the last week, and it really just makes raiding with you all so much more enjoyable. It had been a long time since I logged onto WoW and thought "Yes! I get to raid tonight!" when I joined.
So I guess what I'm trying to say is, thanks to all of you, both G1 and G2 for making my time here so enjoyable, and I'm looking forward to many more firsts with all of you.
