The War Within Season 3 dungeon testing continues on PTR today. The test period starts on Wednesday July 2nd at 12:00 PST (15:00 EDT, 22:00 CEST) and ends Tuesday July 8th at 10:00 PST (13:00 EDT, 20:00 CEST). Please note that the test period may be adjusted in the event of technical difficulties.

This week’s testing focus is on returning dungeons from The War Within:

• Ara-kara, City of Echoes
• The Dawnbreaker
• Priory of the Sacred Flame
• Operation: Floodgate

Notable updates to these dungeons include:

General

• Waystones have been added to these dungeons and many checkpoints have been adjusted.

Ara-Kara, City of Echoes

• Updated visuals throughout the instance and made adjustments to address the mechanical difficulty of Ki’katal the Harvester.
• Trilling Attendant
  • Web Bolt and Resonant Barrage are now both Nature school.
• Bloodstained Assistant
  • No longer casts Extraction Strike immediately upon entering combat
• Reinforced Drone
  • No longer casts Grasping Slash.
• Ki’katal the Harvester
  ○ Cultivated Poisons now targets 3 players down from 5
  ○ Cultivated Poisons wave initial damage reduced by 50%, and now inflicts additional damage over 5 seconds
  ○ Cosmic Singularity initial damage reduced by 50% and duration of Faded increased to 20 seconds.

The Dawnbreaker

• Improved visual clarity on many spells in the dungeon and made adjustments to mitigate burst damage on tanks throughout the instance.
• Speaker Shadowcrown
  • Obsidian Beam initial damage reduced by 33%
• Nightfall Shadowalker
  ○ Umbral Rush no longer inflicts damage.
• Manifested Shadow
  ○ No longer casts Dark Floes

Priory of The Sacred Flame

• Made adjustments to offer more flexibility with routing in the courtyard of the Priory.
• Arathi Knight
  ○ Impale duration reduced by 33%
  ○ Impale initial damage reduced by 25%
• Guard Captain Suleyman
  ○ Shield Slam damage reduced by 33% and can now be blocked.
• Forge Master Damian
  ○ Health reduced by 15%
  ○ Heat Weave initial damage reduced by 30%, and now inflicts that damage over time
• Lightspawn
  ○ Purification will not target a player already effected by Purification
• Captain Dailcry
  ○ Savage Mauling and Cinderstorm will no longer be cast within 8 seconds of each other
  ○ Hurl Spear replaced with Earthshattering Spear
  ○ Pierce Armor duration reduced from 10s to 7s
• Taener Duelmal
  ○ No longer casts Cinderblast
  ○ Cinderstorm duration reduced from 6s to 4s

Operation: Floodgate

• Big M.O.M.M.A.
  ○ Electrocrush initial damage reduced by 20%.
  ○ The time before Big M.O.M.M.A. casts Kill-o-Block Barrier has been increased by 5 sec.
• Loaderbot
  ○ Windup cast time increased by 100%.
  ○ Windup damage reduced by 25%.
• Venture Co. Architects now place their initial scaffolding in a consistent location.
• Adjusted the composition of the pack guarding the weapons stockpile near Big M.O.M.M.A.
• Bubbles’ location has been adjusted.

During the test period you’ll be able to acquire and customize Mythic Keystones by talking to the Keystone Vendor in Stormwind or Orgrimmar, and the nearby Dungeon Teleports NPC will assist you with transportation.
